The Royal Johor Charity Golf tournament held to commemorate the birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan of Johor was held on 23 April 2006. A total number of 250 golfers took part in this competition and a total of RM 250.000.00 was raised in aid of various Charity Homes.

As for the Royal Johor Country Club members the tournament was played on the Texas Scramble format. In the afternoon, the charity golf was opened for public and sponsors while the format was based on Stableford points. This event was intitiated by H.R.H Tunku Bendahara Johor and is truly an important occasion promoting the spirit of community service and goodwill amongst fellow golfers.
